Maranta leuconeura 'Marisela'
Maranta leuconeura 'Marisela' has striking oval leaves, dark green with a herringbone-like pattern of light yellow veining. Like most members of the Marantaceae family, the plant has a unique habit of folding its leaves upwards at night, which is why it's also known as the Marisela Prayer Plant. The plant has a trailing habit, and will eventually cascade over the sides of its pot, growing to about 12-18". As it matures, tiny lavender flowers appear on slender flower stalks, typically in summer.
• Light: Medium to bright, indirect light
• Water: Water when the top 1-2" of soil feels dry
• Considerations: Mist periodically or set on a pebble tray to create a humid environment. Pet friendly!

She is doing amazing! I created a humidity tray for her and keep her in the bathroom. I really appreciate the fact that it came with information on how to take care of her. That is why I created the humidity tray. I will 100% order again. The plant came so nicely packaged and she is beautiful!
as beautiful as pictured.
My first maranta and I was nervous about care. I left on table near south facing window for a few days to acclimate from travel, but noticed it was wilting and starting to look a bit unhappy. Decided to move into our master shower and so much happier with humidity. I would like to pull it out of there once in awhile because it is too beautiful to keep hidden from public view. Thank you for sending a healthy and well taken care of plant. Makes a huge difference with these sensitive ones!
