Haraella odorata - Taiwan Fragrant Orchid

Haraella odorata (retrocalla) is a true miniature orchid from Taiwan, growing no larger than a few inches across. The yellow-and-red flowers are quite large compared to the tiny, strap leaves. The flowers release a strong sweet fragrance, which is why it has the species name odorata.

PLANT CARE

• Light: Medium, indirect light.
• Water: Prefers to grow moist. Thoroughly mist or soak daily in the summer, with slightly less frequency in winter.
• Considerations: This plant prefers slightly higher humidity, which will help keep the roots moist and induce blooming.
