Calathea lancifolia - Rattlesnake Plant
Calathea lancifolia is a perfect houseplant for pattern lovers who like to decorate wild. Its bright green, wavy leaves are striped with alternating ovals of dark green and accented by a rich purple underside. The plant gets its name from its lance-shaped foliage, and the leaves grow more elongated as the plant matures. Its bushy, compact growth habit makes it ideal as a medium sized floor plant or tabletop accent -- anywhere that needs a little extra green and a tropical feel.
• Light: Medium to bright, indirect light
• Water: Water when the top 1" of soil feels dry
• Considerations: Like most Calathea, the Rattlesnake Plant does not like to dry out. High humidity and persistent watering will help this plant thrive. Pet friendly!

Very pretty. Had to cut back half of one of them after a couple of days, due to leaves dying out & dying. Odd, because the heat pack was still warm.
I love my plant. It arrived in great condition even though we had a flood close our road the day it was supposed to be delivered. After a couple days they figured out they could drive around the lake to reach us! Thank heavens it was still happy and healthy. It is now acclimatized and had its first watering. Yippee!
It's absolutely beautiful!
The plant survived the long ride from Portland to West-Texas in perfect condition. It's absolutely gorgeous!
