Asplenium sp - Bird's Nest Fern

$ 10.00
Size
The Asplenium genus has many cultivars and subspecies, many of them sharing the common name "Bird’s Nest Fern" after their nest-like growth habits. Some varieties have ruffle-edged foliage, some are rigid and spearlike, but each is composed of a rosette of bright green fronds, producing new growth from the center. They can be found growing both epiphytically and terrestrially in their natural environment, which speaks to their versatile and adaptive character! When provided bright diffuse light and plenty of humidity, these plants are remarkably fast growing and resilient.

PLANT CARE

Light: Perfect for medium to bright, indirect light
Water: Allow to dry slightly between waterings. Water when first 1-2” of soil feels dry to the touch, or at first sign of wilt.
Considerations: Thrives with humidity. Pet friendly!

Beautiful!

I have ordered several plants from Pistils and have never been disappointed. The bird’s nest fern was well packaged for its journey to the East Coast and arrived with nary a scratch. So far it is acclimating well and even has a new tendril. (Pictured alongside Amorphophallus konjac, another Pistil alum!)

Looks pretty good

I purchased this fern because it looked like it was not as fussy as most ferns. I don't have time to mist regularly. We'll see how it goes. But it looks just like the photo I purchased from.

Pistils sets the standard for high quality plants

My anxiety level was high but for nothing: Pistils packaged and shipped my new plants with extreme care and with a shipping guarantee service that was free. My bird's nest fern arrived healthy and well, even in winter conditions and the service notified me the instant it was delivered so I can bundle the package quickly into my warm home. I look forward to many happy years with my adopted, and beautiful, plant.
