Philodendron hederaceum 'Lemon Lime'
Philodendron hederaceum 'Lemon Lime' is a beautiful and bright cultivar of the classic Heartleaf Philodendron with chartreuse foliage. Its leaves emerge an electric pinkish yellow, developing to a deep lemon and finally to lime green as they age. Tolerant of a wide range of light conditions, this plant is a prolific grower, producing long cascading vines that can easily reach the floor. Like its close relative the standard green Heartleaf Philodendron, Philodendron 'Lemon Lime' is extremely easy to grow - no green thumb required.
Philodendron hederaceum 'Lemon Lime' is tolerant of low-medium light, but prefers to receive bright indirect light. Water when the top 1-2" of soil feel dry.

My second philodendron from Pistils!
What a nice big beautiful plant! My own photo wouldn't look any better than the ones here, will just say mine looks just as good. It did get a little more jostled than the other three plants in my order, but I gave it a warm shower in the bathtub and was able to wash all of the extra potting mix off of the leaves, and only lost one leaf since it got here. The plant is shiny and pretty and lights up any space where I set it. I'm going to let it settle in through the winter in an east window and then put it into a bright hot-pink pot that I bought a while ago for just the right plant (this is it). I usually buy the 4" plants but in this case I'm happy that I went with the bigger one. It's a lot of plant!
