Araucaria heterophylla - Norfolk Island Pine
The Norfolk Island Pine isn't actually a pine at all. Rather, this ancient conifer is a member of the Araucaria genus, found endemic on the tiny Norfolk Island in the Pacific Ocean. Norfolk Island Pines make great houseplants, and – though slow-growing – can eventually grow into impressive tree-sized specimens. We love its soft foliage, symmetrical growth habit and festive appearance. Though native to the tropics, the Norfolk Island Pine is just about the best way we've found to bring the seasonal charm of a coniferous forest indoors for the holidays.
The Norfolk Island Pine, Araucaria heterophylla, prefers medium to bright indirect light. This simple to care for plant just has one requirement: do not allow the soil to fully dry out. With consistent moisture, your Norfolk Island Pine will happily grow indoors for many years.
Ships in a plastic 4" nursery pot. Each pot has multiple trunks; overall plant size 6-8". Some natural variation in size and appearance may occur.
Marbled Clay Cachepot sold separately. Includes detailed care instructions.

I unboxed my little tree and did repot it right away as the roots were going crazy (it’s recommended you wait)! I was pleased that it’s been doing so well. It’s perky and acclimating. I love pistils nursery!
