Binchotan Charcoal
This Japanese-made Binchotan Charcoal from Morihata is our latest obsession. Binchotan is a special type of super-absorbent charcoal that can pull toxins and impurities from water and the air, perfect for propagation projects and using in soil blends. Some people add a stick of binchotan to their drinking water to slowly soften and purify their water and, after months of use, break down the large charcoal piece to add into their soil blends.
Each package contains two (2) branch-shaped pieces of binchotan charcoal made from ubame oak, pieces measuring roughly 5" x 1". Instructions and ideas for use listed on the back of the packaging.
