Adenium obesum - Desert Rose

Low Stock
$ 10.00
Size

Adenium obesum is a desert-growing caudiciform that is beloved for its huge colorful blooms, which range from white to red, yellow, or even black. The plants are deciduous, meaning they lose their leaves every winter. During their growing season, they quickly regrow lots of leaves and, once mature, produce blooms up to 3" across. Adenium are a specific type of caudiciform called a pachycaul, meaning the caudex grows tall like a tree. Because of the stout trunk, they make a perfect specimen for bonsai.

PLANT CARE

Light: Bright, direct light
• Water: Drought tolerant. Let soil completely dry between waterings
• Considerations: Reduce watering almost completely during the winter

Great Odenium- little plant big shock

I love my adenium obesum! However, after I unpacked and gave it a little water most of its leaves yellowed and fell off. I hope this is just shock. I’ve placed it in a sunny window and will hold back on watering for a while!
