Aerangis luteoalba var. rhodosticta - Dotted Fan Orchid
One of our favorite orchid blooms, Aerangis luteoalba var. rhodosticta has spikes of glowing white blooms, each dotted with a bright orange center. While not in bloom, this miniature African orchid has a thin leaves arranged in a fan shape, perpendicular to the vertical growing surface, with a slightly gray or glaucous appearance.
PLANT CARE
• Light: Medium, indirect light.
• Water: Prefers frequent waterings (every 1-2 days) in the summer, and slightly less frequent waterings (every 2-4 days) in the winter. Soak orchids in room-temperature water or run water over the roots until fully saturated.
• Considerations: This plant is free-flowering throughout the year, and enjoys slightly drier conditions the months after flowering.
