Anthurium andreanum - Flamingo Flower

Named for its bright waxy blooms, the Flamingo Flower is a gorgeous ornamental Anthurium, boasting glossy heart-shaped leaves and long-lasting flowers. Most of these flowering Anthuriums are cultivars of Anthurium andreanum, but to make new varieties with unique inflorescences and leaves, the plants are often crossed with other species, creating a whole rainbow of different blooms colors and leaf shapes. The flowers on our Anthurium andreanum range from white to red, orange, purple, pink, green, or even a combination of colors, making beautiful cut flowers for arrangements. But with blooms often lasting on the plant for four to six weeks, a Flamingo Flower is like a living bouquet!

PLANT CARE

• Light: Medium to bright, indirect light
• Water: Water thoroughly when the top 1-2" of soil dries out
• Considerations: To encourage more blooms, use a low-strength fertilizer monthly during spring and summer

You'll get a healthy Anthurium andreanum cultivar with at least one bloom that meets our rigorous quality standards in a 4" nursery pot. No two plants are alike, and yours will have its own unique shape, size, color, and personality; expect this natural variation from the photos.
