Astrophytum capricorne - Goat's Horn Cactus
Note: Sale plants are in 3" pots
Astrophytum capricorne, the "Goat’s Horn Cactus," is so-named for its beautiful curved spines, which are said to resemble the horns of a goat. While young plants at this stage are round, they become egg-shaped as they grow and, with age, develop a columnar form. Like most Astrophytum, the Goat's Horn Cactus has a star-like appearance when viewed from above, typically with 8 ribs emanating from a central point. Eventually displaying yellow flowers, this is a perfect addition to a sunny windowsill for collectors and beginners alike.
PLANT CARE
• Light: Bright diffused to direct sun
• Water: Drought tolerant. Let soil completely dry between waterings
• Considerations: Use a well-draining cactus/succulent soil, and select a planter with drainage
