Begonia 'Benitochiba'
Begonia 'Benitochiba' is a rex cultivar with silvery pink, palmate leaves. Hybridized in Japan, this plant displays two striking features from its parents: split, palmate leaves and a colorful, metallic leaf color. As the plant matures, the plants' leaves split into distinctly separate leaflets, like a Schefflera 'Amate' or Thaumatophyllum spruceanum. PLANT CARE
• Light: Medium to bright, indirect light. Direct sun will burn the leaves.
• Water: Allow soil to dry moderately between waterings. (We water when the top half of the soil feels dry, just before the plant starts to droop.)
• Considerations: This Begonia loves humidity, but hates having its leaves misted. Increase humidity with a pebble tray or by grouping many plants together.
