Begonia maculata - Polka Dot Plant

Begonia maculata is the crown jewel of angelwing Begonias. This Brazil native grows massive leaves speckled with silvery polka dots. The backs of the leaves are often red. Given appropriate care, these plants can grow over 5-ft tall!

PLANT CARE

• Light: Medium to bright, indirect light
• Water: Allow soil to dry moderately between waterings. These plants are susceptible to root rot if watered too often.
• Considerations: Stake the plant as it grows to keep it upright. These plants appreciate slightly higher humidity. Do not mist or water the leaves without appropriate airflow.
