Bulbophyllum anklyochele - Falling Stars Orchid
This bulb-leaf orchid grows long succulent pseudobulbs along a creeping rhizome, each pseudobulb topped with a slender, succulent leaf. When this creeping orchid blooms, it grows semi-pendant flowers that are pale yellow with a bright orange lip. The blooms look like little stars falling from the beautiful shiny foliage.
PLANT CARE
• Light: Medium to bright, indirect light. Too much direct sunlight can harm the plant.
• Water: This orchid likes to stay moist. Water when moss feels dry but before it feels crispy.
• Considerations: Increased humidity can help induce blooms and new growth. This plant prefers a well-draining substrate with lots of air pockets.
