Bulbophyllum mirum - Spoonbill Orchid

This rare Bulbophyllum grows wide paddle-shaped leaves that are complemented by its unusual birdlike flowers. The mottled purply blooms are long and balloon-shaped, with hair-like tufts around the base. Native to the island of Java, this amazing plant is perfect for the curious collector.

PLANT CARE

• Light: Bright, indirect light.
• Water: As a houseplant, prefers frequent waterings (every day in the summer, every 1-2 days in the winter).
• Considerations: Extra humidity encourages blooms and vigorous growth. A great terrarium specimen.
