Calathea musaica - Network Calathea
Calathea musaica is one of the hardest to find and most highly sought-after members of the genus, and for good reason. Its chartreuse leaves are characterized by an incredibly intricate web-like pattern of dark green lines that intersect at right angles, creating tiny rectangular sections. The effect is a leaf that looks like an artist's mosaic. Sometimes called the Network Calathea, this striking houseplant is an essential member of any rare plant collection.
PLANT CARE
• Light: Medium to bright, indirect light
• Water: Water when the top 1" of soil feels dry
• Considerations: Like most Calathea, the musaica does not like to dry out. High humidity and persistent watering will help this plant thrive. Pet friendly! Check out our Prayer Plant Care Guide for more in-depth information.
