Ctenanthe burle-marxii - Fishbone Prayer Plant
Ctenanthe burle-marxii is a compact houseplant that makes a bold tropical statement. Its bright green leaves are striped with alternating lance-shaped bands, and have deep purple undersides and stems. Ctenanthe (along with their close relatives Calatheas and Marantas) are commonly called "Prayer Plants" because their leaves lie flat by day, but fold upwards in the evenings. Ctenanthe burle-marxii is nicknamed the "Fishbone Prayer Plant" due to the unique leaf pattern.
• Light: Medium to bright, indirect light
• Water: Water when the top 1-2" of soil feels dry
• Considerations: High humidity helps Fishbone Prayer Plant thrive – mist periodically or set on a pebble tray. Pet friendly!

Very craft packaging! The plant is healthy, full, and beautiful!
I’ve never written a review for an online purchase, but Pistils really stood out to me! I was skeptical about ordering plants online, especially from across the country. My plants arrived extremely healthy, and safely packaged. It’s very noticeable the amount of care Pistils puts into their plant health, as well as shipping safety. My plant even arrived with at least 5 new leaves sprouting! I am SO happy with my purchase , and can not wait to order through Pistils again! With love from New England!!
