Dischidia ovata - Watermelon Vine
Dischidia ovata is a succulent vine closely related to Hoya. Commonly known as Watermelon Vine, this plant has round leaves with white venation, making each leaf look like a tiny ripe melon. Native to Southeast Asia, this vine is a natural epiphyte, growing along tree limbs in tropical forests.
PLANT CARE
• Light: Bright, indirect light
• Water: Let the soil dry out almost completely before re-watering.
• Considerations: Use an airy, well-draining substrate to grow this plant. The roots are very sensitive to overwatering and soggy soil.
