Echinopsis pachanoi - San Pedro Cactus
Echinopsis pachanoi, also known as the San Pedro Cactus, is a fast-growing, forgiving cactus native to mountainous regions of South America. These columnar cacti are bluish green and have small, insignificant (yet sharp!) spines. These plants have large, fragrant flowers that are white and open at night.
PLANT CARE
• Light: Bright diffused to direct light
• Water: Drought tolerant. In its native habitat, this plant receives year-round rain, so water when completely dry, but perhaps more frequently in the hot summer months.
• Considerations: Use a well-draining cactus/succulent soil, and select a planter with drainage. This cactus is fairly cold-hardy.
