Footed Fern Cork Mount
Our Footed Fern Cork Mounts feature rhizomatous ferns mounted on natural cork with bright green sphagnum moss. Footed Ferns are largely epiphytes, and mounting them on cork perfectly mimics the way they grow in nature. The ferns' "feet" are creeping rhizomes, a type of root that act like plant's stems. We love the way they look as the rhizomes start to grow over and cover the moss used to hold their roots onto the cork bark. Fitted with a copper loop for easy hanging on the wall, our Footed Fern Cork Mounts are beautiful standalone pieces and look even better in sets.
• Light: Medium, indirect light
• Water: When soil at base of plant feels barely moist, submerge entire mount in room temperature water until fully saturated (3 - 5 minutes)
• Considerations: Ferns love humidity. Mist your mount regularly
