Haworthia cooperi - Glass-Leaved Succulent
Haworthia cooperi is a beautiful succulent with transparent window-like leaves. In the wild, the transparent tips are exposed above the soil, and the green parts of the plant get covered in loose sand. The "windows" on the leaves provide a buffer from the harsh overhead sun, protecting the more sensitive chloroplasts. A bright eastern windowsill or slightly pulled away from a Southern or Western exposure would be the perfect place to display this unique plant.
PLANT CARE
• Light: Bright, indirect light. Some direct sun okay.
• Water: Drought tolerant. Let soil dry between waterings
• Considerations: Use a well-draining cactus/succulent soil, and select a planter with drainage
