Hoodia gordonii is a spiny succulent shrub native to Southern Africa. This stapeliad is in the Apocynaceae family along with Hoya, Huernia, Pachypodium, Fockea, and Ceropegia. One of the most amazing features of this cactus lookalike are its large round blooms that look like huge pink discs.

PLANT CARE

• Light: Bright, direct light.
• Water: Drought tolerant. Water when soil is dry. Withhold water through winter.
• Considerations: Use well-draining soil and a pot with drainage hole.
