Hoya carnosa 'Krimson Queen'
Hoya carnosa 'Krimson Queen' is a variegated cultivar of the standard Wax Plant. Whereas the 'Krimson Princess' has variegation on the leaf centers, the Krimson Queen is boasts white to pink variegation around the leaf margins. The plant's vines and new leaves often emerge bright pink, with the occasional leaf entirely white. Growing long, winding vines, this plant is eager to climb, but will happily cascade down the sides of its pot. Hoya 'Krimson Queen' is an ideal choice for a trellis or hanging planter.
Drought tolerant, and perfect for bright, indirect light, Hoya carnosa 'Krimson Queen' is easy to care for. Water when the top 1-2" of soil feel dry to the touch.
- 4" pot has 1-2 stems, approximately 2-4" in length.
- 6" pot has multiple stems, approximately 5-8" in length.
Ships in a plastic nursery pot. Some natural variation in size and appearance may occur. Planters sold separately. Includes detailed care instructions.

I am very happy with my new plant. It arrived in very good condition. You really package all your plants very well. There was not any broken foliage on the plant. I have not re-potted it yet. The reason I wanted this plant is because I have my Mother's Hoya Pubicalyx which has to be 63 plus year old by now. It was a small plant when she bought it and has it got bigger over the years she keep re-potting the plant into the next size pot. The last pot Mom put it in has to be without measuring it is 24 inches across. I have it on my front porch on the wood trills it grows on. It is always covered every year with lots of beautiful wax looking star cluster of flowers. The first time Mom showed me the plant when it was blooming I thought it was WAX FLOWERS Mom put on the plant. She said , that they were real and showed me how the flowers were all attached to the plant. When Mom passed away of course I have it and it loves the front porch where it gets the early morning sun, than it is in the shade in the afternoon. The leaves are nice and big very dark green with the spots on the leaves. That was why I had to have this Hoya carnosa 'Krimson Queen's plant to see if I could do a good job at growing this one like my Mom did with the one she grew from a small plant. Your plants are all of very good quality and I love all the unusual type plants you carry. My Rattlesnake plant I bought from you is really growing very fast. I am going to have to get it planted in a larger pot soon that I bought from you. Everyone that see's this plant are really in love with it just like me. The leaves are so different from other plants that I have. Oh by the way I am not a lover of Real Snakes, but the Rattlesnake plant is OK for me to have has my pet plant. Leah-Rae Silva
