Hoya caudata ‘Sumatra’ is a vining plant from SE Asia with splashy ovate leaves. The stiff leaves are slightly hairy and have irregular, rippled margins. The new leaves emerge solid green, but eventually fade to a dark green. When this Hoya blooms, it grows clusters of furry, white, star-shaped flowers.

PLANT CARE

Light: Perfect for medium to bright, indirect light
• Water: Water when the top 1-2" of soil feels dry to the touch. Unlike other Hoyas, this Hoya prefers not to go completely bone dry, but still be cautious of overwatering.
• Considerations: Use a well-draining soil, and select a planter with drainage. Read our Hoya Care Guide for more information.
