Hoya linearis

Hoya linearis is a vining plant that cascades and hangs dramatically out of its pot. Perfect for hanging baskets, a healthy Hoya linearis will reward its grower with pendant white flower clusters that smell slightly lemony. The plant's narrow leaves are soft and slightly fuzzy.

Native to Northern India, this plant grows as a true epiphyte, hanging from trees like Spanish moss or Huperzia. We're so excited to offer this Wishlist Plant online!

PLANT CARE

• Light: Perfect for bright, indirect light
• Water: When watering, fully saturate the soil and allow excess water to drain away. Dump off any excess water left in the saucer. Allow soil to completely dry before rewatering. Stick your finger deep into the soil to test that the soil is dry before you consider watering again.
• Considerations: Use a well-draining soil, and select a planter with drainage. Pet friendly! If leaves look shriveled and the soil is dry, it's definitely time to water. This variety of Hoya appreciates slightly elevated humidity. This plant prefers a small pot. Repot only when difficult to keep up with watering or if soil becomes hard and compacted. Read our Hoya journal entry for more care information.
