Hoya wayetii
Hoya wayetii is an interesting Hoya, sporting narrow, thick leaves with a dark margin around the edges which can turn red when the plant is given more light. The dark outline of the leaves make this plant look like a living cartoon. Many Hoya are well known for their blooms, and Hoya wayetii eventually produces flowers that appear like small red balls held in a cluster. Hoya wayetti makes a great statement as a hanging or climbing vine.
PLANT CARE
• Light: Bright, indirect light
• Water: Drought tolerant. Water when the top 1-2” of soil feels dry
• Considerations: Use a well-draining soil, and select a planter with drainage. Pet friendly! Read our Hoya journal entry for more care information.
