Hoya wayetii is an interesting Hoya, sporting narrow, thick leaves with a dark margin around the edges which can turn red when the plant is given more light. Many hoyas are well known for their blooms, and Hoya wayetii eventually produces flowers that appear like small red balls held in a cluster. Though this particular species is not a heavy bloomer, the interesting leaves make up for it! Hoya wayetti makes a great statement as a hanging or climbing vine.
• Light: Bright, indirect light
• Water: Drought tolerant. Water when the top 1-2” of soil feels dry
• Considerations: Use a well-draining soil, and select a planter with drainage. Pet friendly! Read our Hoya journal entry for more care information.

Came in great condition. Grateful to Pistils as it's hard to get a specimen of this size and quality. As usual, Pistils plants are always healthy. A+.
My plant arrived very dry, but after unpacking and a good drink of water, is beautiful and healthy. I've ordered Hoyas from other nurseries but Pistil's have been consistently the healthiest and best rooted.
Heathy and beautiful as always!
My lovely hoya is arrived happy, and it is doing well and showing new growth, even though it is wintertime. It came potted in a nice chunky mix, which is appropriate for hoyas and relieves some of my overwatering worry. Looking forward to flowers some day - I hear they smell like butterscotch. :)
