Leo Planter - Oatmeal

$ 52.00
Size

We are thrilled to offer the Leo Planter as part of our flagship pottery line, handmade right here in Portland, Oregon. Our Leo Planter has a distinctive, low profile that was inspired by shapes popular in mid-century design. Glazed in creamy white, cinnamon-flecked Oatmeal, it sits atop an unglazed, attached base that showcases the earthen color and subtle texture of Moroccan Sand clay.

Leo is a bold and modern planter of exceptional quality, sure to elevate houseplants of all sorts. Alongside our Coco Planter, it's available in two sizes, designed to fit most 4" and 6" nursery pots. Leo was named after the founder of Pistils Nursery's son, and we think it matches his handsome, sturdy personality.

Specifications

- Small: 5" W x 4.5" H
- Large: 7" W x 6" H

The Leo Planter does not have a drainage hole. As a handmade product, some variation in color and shape may occur. Calathea lancifolia sold separately.

Leo planter

It is quite beautiful and well crafted. I like that it was made locally. My plan was to place my plant in its grow pot into the Leo planter to act as a cache pot. Because the bottom of the Leo pot has a cutout, the 4 in grow pot did not fit low enough for my liking.. Luckily I had another small plant in a white (not black) grow pot that I placed in the Leo planter. It sits up a good half inch above the Leo pot but because it is lighter in color it is not as noticeable.
