Ludisia discolor var. alba - White-Veined Jewel Orchid
Ludisia discolor var. alba is a rare variety of Ludisia discolor, grown for is beautiful shiny leaves. Our standard Ludisia discolor has velvety black leaves with reddish brassy stripes. But Ludisia discolor var. alba has bright green leaves with intense white veining. This plant looks a bit like Macodes petola, but it's as easy to grow as the standard Ludisia discolor!
Ludisia grow from thick subterranean rhizomatous stems, and the actual root system is very small. Because of that, it's important not to let your jewel orchids completely dry out.
PLANT CARE
