Macodes petola - Lightning Jewel Orchid
Macodes petola is called a "Jewel Orchid," because it is a terrestrial orchid grown primarily for its sparkling foliage, rather than its flowers. This species has beautiful bright green leaves, ribboned with electric gold-green venation. Extremely rare, Macodes petola is a must for any collector.
PLANT CARE
• Light: Low to medium indirect light
• Water: Keep growing medium lightly moist at all times
• Considerations: Mist regularly to create a humid environment. Clip flower spikes after blooms fade
