Macodes petola - Lightning Jewel Orchid

$ 22.00
Size

Macodes petola is called a "Jewel Orchid," because it is a terrestrial orchid grown primarily for its sparkling foliage, rather than its flowers. This species has beautiful bright green leaves, ribboned with electric gold-green venation. Extremely rare, Macodes petola is a must for any collector.

PLANT CARE

 Light: Low to medium indirect light
• Water: Keep growing medium lightly moist at all times
• Considerations: Mist regularly to create a humid environment. Clip flower spikes after blooms fade

Precious!

So lovely, very small and delicate but seems to be holding on well.

I swear, it’s leaves sparkle.

This little guy is the cutest thing! Came well packaged (as always). I’m a somewhat frequent orderer from Savannah and all my plants from here always thrive. So excited for this new little guy!
