Peperomia verticillata 'Double Duty'
Peperomia verticillata 'Double Duty' is a vining plant from Central and South America grown for its beautiful, succulent leaves. Most Peperomia are understory plants in tropical rainforests, and because their leaves store extra water, the plant prefers to dry out more than thin-leaved tropicals.
Sometimes grown as Peperomia 'Red Log', it has deep green leaves with subtle white veining and bright red undersides. Pinching the growth tips to keep the plant short and compact, or let become top heavy and start to trail and cascade from its pot.
PLANT CARE
• Light: Medium to bright indirect light
• Water: Water when the top 1-2" of soil feels dry
• Considerations: Peperomia verticillata 'Double Duty' is semi-succulent and can dry moderately between waterings. Pet friendly!
