Rhaphidophora decursiva is a beautiful climbing aroid, in the same subfamily of Araceae as Monstera, Scindapsus, Amydrium, and Epipremnum. This plant loves to climb, and will will send out long runners as it searches for more light or something to climb. Provide it a support like a moss pole, and watch as the leaves grow ever larger and more mature, developing splits that eventually make it look like a climbing palm tree. Though the mature foliage can grow up 40" long, these juvenile plants have deeply green, shiny leaves that have us swooning.

Plant Care

Light: Place in bright, indirect light
• Water: Water when the top half of soil feels dry
• Considerations: A climbing Rhaphidophora decursiva grown in bright light will produce larger foliage with deep splits. Misting will help aerial roots adhere to climbing surface
