Rhaphidophora decursiva is a beautiful climbing aroid, in the same subfamily of Araceae as Monstera, Scindapsus, Amydrium, and Epipremnum. This plant loves to climb, and will will send out long runners as it searches for more light or something to climb. Provide it a support like a moss pole, and watch as the leaves grow ever larger and more mature, developing splits that eventually make it look like a climbing palm tree. Though the mature foliage can grow up 40" long, these juvenile plants have deeply green, shiny leaves that have us swooning.
• Light: Place in bright, indirect light
• Water: Water when the top half of soil feels dry
• Considerations: A climbing Rhaphidophora decursiva grown in bright light will produce larger foliage with deep splits. Misting will help aerial roots adhere to climbing surface

I love the plant (I hope there's time for me to find a place in my apartment when it gets larger). I did have to place it in a new pot as new soil was needed. It's currently a few feet from a southeast-facing window where there's good light in the area for at least six hours a day.
Overtime I order from Pistils I am elated!
Perfect and perfectly happy little plant! Just like all of Pistils Nursery plants, it came snugly packed in environmentally friendly packing and now shines amongst my other Pistils Nursery plants (she really has this shine to her leaves!!). Thank you to the PNT for taking such great care of their customers and sending us the best plants!!
