The Spring Cactus is beloved for its bountiful blossoms that appear each year just as winter turns to spring. Growing epiphytically on the branches of trees in the jungles of southern Brazil, it's tolerant of less light and more moisture than most cacti, making the Spring Cactus an excellent indoor plant. Though it is similar in appearance to its relative the Christmas Cactus, Spring Cactus (also called the Easter Cactus or Whitsun Cactus) is actually a different species of Schlumbergera. We love how their feathery flowers brighten up the space and bring a bit of springtime indoors.
• Light: Prefers bright, indirect light, but can tolerate lower light
• Water: Drought tolerant. Water when the top 1-2" of soil feels dry to the touch
• Considerations: Schlumbergera produce flowers in cool temps with a short days. To initiate the production of flower buds, in late winter expose the plant for 16 hours of dark and 8 hours of light for at least 8 days. Pet friendly!

I received my Spring Cactus in very good condition. I also ordered a Fishbone Cactus and that came packaged the same way and is in very good condition. Both plants are healthy. I couldn't be more pleased with my purchase. I will order from this nursery again.

My 'Easter Cactus" arrived in fantastic condition....and it was in bloom. Packing was excellent..I unpacked the plant, watered it and placed in a bright window for a few days to acclimate...It's now outdoors on my shaded patio (I live in Florida) and has put on new growth. I will need to repot it soon....A lovely plant..and I will def purchase from this seller again....Thank you..
