Thaumatophyllum bipinnatifidum is a classic houseplant that goes by a LOT of different names: Philodendron Selloum, Philodendron 'Hope', Tree Philodendron and Split Leaf Philodendron to name just a few. As it happens, the plant is not a Philodendron at all, but rather a Thaumatophyllum, a new genus within the aroid family as of 2018. Regardless of what you call it, this plant has striking, bright green foliage and makes, with its wide, dense growth habit, makes a beautiful statement as a houseplant.
• Light: Medium to bright indirect light
• Water: Water when the top 1-2" of soil dries out
• Considerations: Choose a pot with drainage and decrease watering in winter
