Tillandsia duratii - Air Plant
Tillandsia duratii is one of our favorite "Collector's Air Plants." The plant's rigid leaves fold downward as they mature, in an attempt to hold onto tree branches and cactus spines. When a plant reaches maturity, their giant bloom stalks end with lilac, grape-scented flowers that last a long time.
PLANT CARE
• Light: Bright, indirect light, some direct light is okay
• Water: Give these plants a dunk in room-temperature water once every 1-2 weeks and dry with its crown pointed down to avoid rot. Mist occasionally.
• Considerations: Watering less often causes the plant grow curlier leaves. More moisture can yield a larger plant.
