May Kokedama Workshop

Kokedama is a Japanese bonsai technique that binds a plant's roots in moss to create a beautiful living sculpture. This workshop takes place the day before Mother's Day, a perfect occasion to make something for or with someone to celebrate. At our event, we'll have a variety of beautiful and colorful plants that are well-suited to thrive as a kokedama. The event takes place from on Saturday May 10th, 2025.

Plant Swap

This is a free, non-ticketed community event taking place at our Mississippi Ave location on May 24th at 11am. Bring a plant, cutting, or planter (or multiple!) and trade with other plant enthusiasts! Meet new people and trade for a new plant.

- Label your plant with its name so the recipient knows what they're growing!

- If you bring a cutting, please wrap in a damp paper towel or trade the cutting in a vessel of water.

-Don't sell your plants for money at the event. This is a swap event. Trades only!
