Pleurothallis aff. grobyi - Miniature Bonnet Orchid
We are calling this possibly undescribed miniature orchid "Pleurothallis aff. grobyi" because we are not quite sure of its ID, just that it was collected in Ecuador and looks a lot like Pleurothallis (Specklinia) grobyi. Possibly a member of the closely related genus Specklinia, this orchid has tiny elliptical leaves with even tinier yellow blooms. The mounding habit of pleurothallids make this plant an adorable, striking addition to any specialty collection.
PLANT CARE
• Light: Bright, indirect light.
• Water: Prefers frequent waterings (every 1-3 days). Soak or heavily mist the mount with room-temperature water.
