Earth Day Plant Mounting Workshop

Epiphytes are plants that grow on other plants or trees in the wild, and these plants generally make easy-going and adaptable houseplants. In this hands-on class, you'll create your very own Cork Mount, choosing from our wide array of colorful epiphytic plants, bright green moss, and a unique piece of natural cork. We'll walk you through the process step by step and teach you all about the care for these special plants while we enjoy delicious wine from our friends at Manzanita NW.

A few of the plant types and genera you may choose from include ferns, Philodendron, Hoya, and Anthurium, among others. 

Workshop Details

This in-person workshop is a 21+ event. The event takes place a few days before Earth Day on Thursday, April 20th, 2023 from 5:30pm - 6:45pm at Manzanita NW, a wine tasting room a block from our NW Portland retail location.

Each ticket allows entry for one (1) participant with one complimentary glass of wine and all plants and supplies included.
